Organic Maitake

Maitake mushrooms have long been valued in Asian cuisine for their distinctive flavour and versatility. Traditionally referred to as the “Dancing Mushroom,” the name reflects the excitement of early foragers who found them growing in the wild.

This Organic Maitake Mushroom Extract Powder is made from mushrooms ethically and sustainably sourced from Zhejiang Province, China. Each crop is grown using a traditional hardwood cultivation method and harvested seasonally in April and October. The mushrooms undergo a dual hot water extraction process with no alcohol used.

Only 100 percent fruiting bodies are used, with no fillers or excipients. The final extract is spray dried without carriers to maintain the natural characteristics of the mushroom powder. All batches are third party tested for purity and identity, with full traceability back to the farm.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place below 25 °C, away from direct sunlight. Sold by weight, not volume. Settling may occur.

Suggested Use
Add 1 level teaspoon (2 g) to hot water to make a traditional mushroom tea, or incorporate into soups, broths, smoothies, baking, or savoury dishes. Reuse or refill the Miron glass jars to help reduce waste.
