Our Shilajit (Asphaltum) is rock exudate that has been wild collected. The rock exudates are 100% water extracted to a dry powder and our third party laboratory testing procedure remains consistent for each batch produced. This helps us ensure they are free from heavy metals, pesticides, and microbiological contaminants and importantly contain key trace minerals. As a natural product colour variations occur batch to batch.
We offer our premium Shilajit powder in 300ml Miron violet glass jars. These wide neck jars are specially designed to be 100% airtight with a patented cushion seal for lasting freshness. The Biphotonic glass filters sunlight only allowing infra-red and UVA light through. This preserves the effectiveness of light sensitive powders. We encourage customers to reuse the jars. We also offer a resealable airtight pouch. Sold by weight not volume, settling may occur.

Himalayan Shilajit
Trace Mineral Complex
Himalayan Shilajit, often heralded as the "destroyer of weakness," is a naturally occurring substance found in the Himalayan mountains. Over millions of years, ancient plant matter compressed between rock layers transforms due to mountain pressure, resulting in a mineral-rich substance that emerges from the rocks during warmer seasons. In its resin form, Shilajit appears as a dark tar-like substance. However, through a specialised water extraction process, we obtain a distinct powder, in which the colour can vary. The variance in color arises from the different mineral levels in the wild-collected Shilajit.
Two notable minerals that influence its shade are Fulvic and Humic acid. Fulvic acid presents a yellowish-brown tint, whereas Humic acid leans towards a darker brown to black spectrum. Deeply treasured in traditional Ayurvedic practices, Shilajit is renowned for its rejuvenating properties and an abundant mineral profile.
